About the Position: The incumbent will provide administrative and research support to the editorial team, reporting directly to the managing editor. This is a great opportunity for an entry-level professional to gain skills in writing, social media, marketing, and office administration.


Editorial Assistant Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


50% - Research and Reporting


a) Identifying and researching incidents of liberal bias, abuse, and indoctrination in American higher education


b) Writing news stories for publication on CampusReform.org as assigned by the Managing Editor


c) Conducting public records requests and data-driven research to long-term projects


30% - Social Media and Marketing


a) Creating content for Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook to increase engagement and reach


b) Maintaining and updating database of media hits


c) Using Google Analytics and other digital tools to track website performance and other key metrics


20% - Editorial Support


a) Assisting editorial team with the Campus Profile series


b) Supporting the editorial team’s management of the correspondent program


c) Performing administrative duties to support publication process


Qualifications: This is an entry-level position and training will be provided to the incumbent. Desired qualities and experience include strong organization and written and oral communication skills. The individual should have the ability to handle several projects at one until under deadline.


Education or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; approximately one year’s related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Development Operations Officer

The Leadership Institute seeks a Development Operations Officer to join our fast-paced and growing Development team. This is an amazing entry-level position for someone interested in rapidly acquiring non-profit fundraising skills. Primary responsibilities are to process mail and donations, read and record the mail sent by the Leadership Institute’s 45,000 donors, update donor records, maintain database hygiene, and assist in the process of quickly thanking donors for their donations. Regional Field Coordinator

The Leadership Institute is seeking a Regional Field Coordinator (RFC) to work in our Campus Leadership Program. Regional Field Coordinators are responsible for organizing our WA, OR, SD, ND, ID, MT region of our nationwide network of more than 2,030 conservative student groups. This also involves extensive travel on a monthly basis within your region to organize student activists and conduct institute training programs.


Day-to-day tasks of an RFC will have you constantly thinking on your feet and using creativity to tackle problems. This job will require you to travel and interact with various conservative organizations to build a coalition on campus.


The duties of an RFC include:


  •    Recruiting and organizing students.
  •    Providing student groups with advice to help them grow and sustain their organizations.
  •    Assisting students with exposing liberal bias on campus.
  •    Working with student activists to engage in activism projects on their campus.
  •    Coaching students on handling the media and message development.
  •    Offering advice for dealing with administrators.


An RFC should possess a strong commitment to conservative values and understand the dynamics of college/youth activism on campus. Working knowledge of student government, on-campus organizations, student newspapers, and field team management is crucial. A passion for conservative activism is required.

School Board Training Manager

The Leadership Institute is seeking a highly organized individual to manage the Institute’s new school board training program. 


The ideal candidate will not only develop curriculum and supplemental materials, but will schedule, recruit for, and coordinate trainings online and in-person throughout the country, as well as serve as the lead spokesperson for the project.


Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned:


·        Report regularly the progress of the initiative to the Vice President of Programs and the President of the Leadership Institute

·        Manage a multi-year marketing campaign to persuade principled conservatives to engage with local school boards and run as candidates

·        Create and maintain active relationships with top leaders of prominent non-profit and advocacy organizations throughout the country to build lasting coalitions and partnerships for school board campaign trainings


·        Schedule and organize training seminars

·        Recruit students and faculty

·        Continual updating of training curriculum and materials

·        Serve as the spokesperson for the program at trainings, meetings, and conferences as needed



·        Administer and coordinate the schools in person and online
