Grassroots Program Coordinator

Are you interested in working at the intersection of politics, elections, public policy, and education? Do you love to travel and meet new people? If so, the Leadership Institute's Grassroots Programs Coordinator position may be a place to continue on your career path.   We are looking for a solid conservative with a background in center-right public policy and activism knowledge.

Candidate should at least five years of demonstrable campaign and public policy experience, not including previous volunteer and internship positions.  Candidate must enjoy public speaking, networking, teaching, and approximately 50% short-term weekend travel. 

The job also involves approximately 30% of administrative duties.

Field Representative

This position is for the 2021 Fall semester. Training will begin the week of July 13th, 2021.

The Leadership Institute is seeking Field Representatives for the Fall 2021 semester.

Since 1997, The Leadership Institute has recruited and trained the best and brightest young conservative activists for its National Field Program. Leadership Institute Field Representatives are the face of the conservative movement on college campuses across the country.

If selected for the LI Field Rep program, you will travel to college campuses within your assigned region through the end of the fall semester. At each college, you will organize, train, and inspire students to promote and defend conservative ideas and values on their campus.

LI Field Reps help students start conservative student organizations or publications on campus and provide them with the skills they need to help their groups succeed.

In addition to a base salary of $15,000, Field Reps have the opportunity to receive a $5,000 performance bonus at the end of the semester, the finest training in youth organization, mobilization, and activism prior to being deployed to their assigned region.

After completing the LI Field Rep program, former Field Reps have gone on to work for conservative think tanks, consulting firms, Congressional offices, and national and state political parties. Some have even started their own conservative non-profits or have run for political office.

Reporter/Media spokesperson

Campus Reform, a project of the Leadership Institute, is looking for a Reporter to write an average of 3-4 stories per day for CampusReform.org covering liberal bias and abuse on America's college campuses. 

The ideal candidate would be equipped and trained to appear on televised media interviews, or have the potential to do so with appropriate training, be well-versed in identifying stories, interviewing sources, obtaining exclusive content, and able to identify ways to advance stories from competing outlets. 

He or she should have a firm grasp of the 24/7 news cycle, be accustomed to consistently meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, detail-oriented newsroom environment, and have a working knowledge of AP Style. 

The ability to edit video is a plus.

Correspondent Director

As a watchdog to the nation's higher education system, Campus Reform exposes liberal bias and abuse on the nation's college campuses. Our team of professional journalists works alongside student activists and student journalists to report on the conduct and misconduct of university administrators, faculty, and students.

Campus Reform is looking for a Correspondent Director. The Correspondent Director will be tasked with managing Campus Reform’s Correspondent Program and helping out with day-to-day office tasks that keep Campus Reform running as the #1 site for college news. The goal of the program Correspondent Director will be to find and develop student journalists into skilled writers concerning the liberal bias and abuse beat.
