Digital Download: Email List Growth Tactics

23 days until event begins

What you will learn

Leadership Institute's Digital Download weekly training series teaches digital technology being used to shape America's electoral system.

Every Tuesday, this training series completes a "deep dive" into new digital technology and effective strategies about how to support your online activism and political efforts.

Become a digitally savvy activist and gain in depth knowledge of a variety of key topics in the digital field. With a mix of speaker presentations and panels, you will learn from center-right digital professionals how to best optimize your digital footprint.

May 11: Email List Growth Tactics

You can never fully control social media platforms. But you do control your email list.

Growing your email list is an important long-term investment for campaigns and organizations.

Email list building remains the most reliable way to raise money online and create consistent website traffic. Growing your email list will also boost other forms of digital activism, such as GOTV efforts and volunteer recruitment.

This Digital Download training will show you how to increase the size of your email list through a mix of no-cost and paid tactics. You'll learn:

  • best practices for email acquisition campaigns (i.e. petitions, surveys, etc.) with examples;

  • major factors that affect email deliverability; and

  • how to identify and undertake meaningful tests for your list.

The training ends at 1:15pm Eastern / Washington D.C. time.
